Terms of Service
Last updated: September 6, 2026
1. The service
LeadInSeconds, operated by Intelligent Bytes LLC ("LeadInSeconds," "we," "us"), provides a JavaScript snippet and dashboard that detects contact-form submissions on a customer's website and sends the business owner an SMS and/or email notification. By creating an account or installing the snippet, you agree to these terms.
2. Accounts and billing
You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for activity under your account. Subscriptions are billed through Stripe according to the plan you select; plan limits (websites, monthly leads) are enforced as described on our pricing page. You can cancel at any time from your dashboard; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use LeadInSeconds to:
- Capture data through a website you don't own or don't have the right to install code on
- Collect information in violation of applicable law, including without a lawful basis for processing your own site visitors' data
- Send content that is unlawful, fraudulent, or infringes on others' rights
As between you and LeadInSeconds, you are the data controller for lead data captured through your website — you're responsible for your own compliance with laws like the GDPR, CCPA, and CAN-SPAM/TCPA with respect to your own site visitors. LeadInSeconds acts as your data processor for that data.
4. Not for regulated health or legal-privilege data
LeadInSeconds is not currently configured or intended for use with Protected Health Information (PHI) under HIPAA. Please don't use LeadInSeconds to capture health, medical, or treatment-related information from patients.
If you're a law firm or legal services provider using LeadInSeconds to capture contact forms from prospective clients: LeadInSeconds is an infrastructure and notification tool, not a law firm, and does not provide legal advice or legal services. We are not a party to, and assume no responsibility for, any attorney-client relationship, privilege, or confidentiality obligation that may attach to information submitted through your form — that responsibility remains yours.
5. Service availability
We aim to keep LeadInSeconds reliably available but don't guarantee uninterrupted service. Notification delivery depends on third-party providers (Twilio, Resend) and is not guaranteed to be instantaneous or delivered in every case.
6. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
LeadInSeconds is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Intelligent Bytes LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost leads, lost revenue, or lost profits arising from use of or inability to use the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim arose.
7. Termination
You may stop using LeadInSeconds and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, including the acceptable-use restrictions above.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above; continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
